Pulp! The Classics is a new imprint from Oldcastle Books that gives the nation's favourite classic novels original retro covers in a pulp fiction style - with a dash of wry humour. Redesigned and reset, using the original unabridged text from some of the best writers that have ever lived, Pulp! The Classics promises readers their favourite books with stunning and highly original jackets.
The series started in January 2013 with Pride & Prejudice with forthcoming titles including Robinson Crusoe, The Hound of The Baskervilles and The Great Gatsby in May 2013, followed by Wuthering Heights, Tess of the D'Urbervilles and A Christmas Carol.
David Mann, the illustrator responsible for all our cover art so far, is an artist and illustrator who studied illustration at the Cambridge School of Art. He has previously illustrated for both publishers and corporate clients. He lives in Hertfordshire.
Book design is by Elsa Mathern
